After she graduated college at OSU, my daughter Kristi got a job working on a team studying the Greater Prairie Chicken at the Tall Grass Prairie Preserve north of Pawhuska, Oklahoma. One Saturday morning, I got up at 4 AM and met her at her office near the entrance of the Preserve. This story documents my recollection of that day. Continue reading

More Quiet Time

 

Often times when I was about 10 years old, I would feel the need to get away and do something by myself that was both mind soothing and fun. This is one of the things I enjoyed doing by myself.

Feeling rested, revitalized, and ready to go for a while longer.
