Reflections Of Ben And Sarah

Reflections Of Ben And Sarah

.

In recent years, I have developed some favorite pictures I love,
Of my nearby grandchildren sent on down to me from above.
These images have come to be fine treasures for an old man.
I’ll write a similar poem about Luke and Zack later when I can.

Reflections Of Ben And Sarah

When we were at a restaurant, an impromptu photo was shot,
Catching Ben and Sarah working a game concentrating a lot.
The result is one of my favorite photographs profiling them so fine.
And checkout that little sharp claw digging right into Ben’s mind.

Not long after Ben first became a Cub Scout in his blue outfit,
Sarah was hugging him as he looked proud with a new found grit.
Like a soldier heading off to the army in his new uniform so bold,
I love this picture of Ben and his sister as fond memories it holds.

You can see there is great family love in this photo of Sarah and Ben,
Sitting near an Oklahoma lake on a family outing once again.
All brothers and sisters have a little disagreement once in a while,
But there is that family bond of love that brings those big smiles.

I have such talented grandchildren perhaps enhanced by my genes.
Just look at those hand carved Jack O Lanterns looking so keen.
Ben and Sarah are such artistic children of this I am so sure,
Sometimes giving me such joy that is so fulfilling to endure.

Such happy children spread happiness with their big smiles,
As shown here from the tower overlooking Woolaroc for miles.
They had a wonderful time that day with Pam and I there too.
What a great time we had seeing wild animals there with you.

Halloween is so fun with our Ben and Sarah dressed up so fine,
Looking like the real ironman and a beautiful princess so kind.
We love watching our grandchildren growing up so very near,
Reminding us of raising our young children that were so dear.

It’s so good that brothers and sisters can be such good buddies,
Hanging with each other having fun not being Fuddy Duddies.
It’s plain to see their love for each other as they grow up so fast,
It seems like only yesterday that they were babies in the past.

Picking those Porter Peaches is a fun thing for young kids to do,
Ben and Sarah seem like they are having a peachy time too.
I can’t wait until they get home and help their wonderful Mom,
Fix a peach cobbler being sure to save their old PoPo some.

I’m not sure that I’ve ever hugged a big old white chicken hen,
But Ben and Sarah can say that they have and will do it again.
They love their pet chickens living out there in the back yard,
They would never allow that hen to be cooked or grill charred.

When your grand children are growing up take lots of pictures,
As you will treasure them dearly often reviewing them with joy tears.
I love to put them on Apple TV and look at them on the big screen,
As past memories fill my mind with such very sweet dreams.
