Stop And Smell The Flowers
.
I know someone who always stops to smell the flowers,
She loves the sweet fragrance that fuels her power.
As she always expends so much energy each day.
As she looks so pretty being so good along her way.

Stop And Smell The Flowers
.
My granddaughter Sarah just loves those pretty flowers,
She was out in the tulips with brother Ben for an hour,
As Ben pulled her a pretty pink tulip to match her sweater,
Which she smelled right there in the sunshiny weather.
.
A while later they both got deep into the flower bed,
Surrounded by sweet fragrance of the flowers so red.
Ben is inspecting a honey bee sucking nectar so sweet.
Explaining to Sarah, the nectar is what bees do eat.
.
Sarah has found a beautiful white rose with red dots,
She’s lost in the moment as the smell hit her sweet spot.
As Sarah Ann seems to be in a state of pure ecstasy.
Kind of floating up there in the white clouds so free.
.
Sarah has her little nose deep in that floppy red tulip,
Probably getting some of that yellow pollen on the tip.
I bet that sure smells so good deep down in the flower,
As that nice smelling fragrance she is trying to devour.
.
Just look at all of those small clusters of red roses,
That rose scent must be so strong as she nicely poses,
Sniffing those beautiful roses on such a pretty day,
And Sarah’s profile is also beautiful, I really must say.
.
Ah yes, Sarah has found the yellow and orange tulips,
In that nice planter box full of those cedar wood chips.
I know she is fixing to smell those flowers in a second,
As she takes time to smell flowers when they do beckon.
.
What a beautiful yellow and pink rose Sarah has found,
She has started absorbing that sweet aroma on down,
Looking so sweet bending down so very close in.
She will likely stop a while, then smell it once again.
.
Look at those multicolored pink rose bunches there,
It looks like Sarah picked the darkest one very fair.
Sarah’s pigtails are hanging almost down to the ground,
As she sniffs that sweet perfume that she has found.
.
Now those are strange looking flowers Sarah found,
With that funny little thing hanging way on down.
Pam called them “Little Boy Flowers” when I did ask,
I wonder if they smell good growing there in that flask?
.
Sarah always seeks pretty flowers where they grow,
These are in downtown Bartlesville planted for show.
Sarah gently holds that rose looking it over very close,
Soon she will get closer and smell it with her cute nose.
