The 1987 Ski Trip

The 1987 Ski Trip

When the Mickey Mouse Gang ( see previous blog post) was running together, we had more fun than a bull in a field of heifers.. Our trips were always well planned and well organized by various members of the group, but we all relied on Dale to be our leader. Here’s an example of one of our fun trips together. Sometimes events occur that really slow your life down. As an active senior, it can be painful in more ways than one. Heres the story of an event in my life that caused me extreme physical pain and a lot of mental anxiety for a long period of time. Continue reading

The Purse

The Purse

Sometimes you loose some things to theft that are virtually priceless and impossible to replace. I can honestly say that the item stolen in the following theft story does not fall into this category. I would have gladly given the item to the thief and then I would not have had to replace a broken window. The Story is as follows: Continue reading

iPad Notes App Part 2

The Cannibals

The Cannibals

Written with my iPad Notes App

Since I love to write and the Notes pad on the iPad is so easy to use from my recliner, I thought I’d revisit Notes in “iPad Notes App Part 2”. I use Notes to write all my emails because it is so easy. I write the email notes and edit them for mistakes in Notes. Then I hit the small square with the arrow pointing up at the top of the page. I select mail and the note goes into email format ready to add “to” addresses and “cc” addresses. So I send all my emails in a very comfortable position. Continue reading

Miscues and the Cuties

Miscues and the Cuties

Misques and the Cuties ( refer to earlier blog) traveled all over North East Oklahoma entertaining different groups because we loved clogging and,we loved doing fun things with our friends. Another Misque

Another Misque

The Misques were a big part of our family’s free time life in the 1990s. I have estimated we did 400 clogging exhibitions with the Misques and Cuties alone during that period of time. My daughters were nearly always with us. We evolved from a scruffy looking group to a more colorful scruffy looking group during that time.  This story  illustrates some of the changes.
