Old Hawg still has a toon or two left in him to pull out,
With a few words describing what that toon is all about.
So here is one more set of ten you may never see again,
That you may know from somewhere way back then.

How About A Toon Up?

 

 

.

“Arnold” is a guy trying to build up his biceps some,
To impress the girls with with his arms of hard stone,
I think a haircut might help him impress a cute chick,
And perhaps a more manly hat might help him click.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Elmer” is a dude with a bird he grabbed from a bush,
Holding the bird by the wings and his tiny little tush.
He used to mess with a rascally rabbit in the old days,
But that rabbit got the best of him in so many ways.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Sharpy” is a nice looking guy that is just pretty sharp,
Who gets right to the point with his decorating art.
His chin, nose, ear, and lips express his pointed personality,
For placing a star on the tree with his specialty ability.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Gregori” is a Russian Soldier in his special dress grays,
Standing at attention with his AK 47 rifle used to slay.
He has fixed his bayonet on his rifle for close combat,
Just to look good as he goose steps parading like that.

“Abe” is a guy I remember drawing in the third grade,
Who used to be president after the constitution was made,
I remember he delivered a fine speech once at Gettysburg,
With some famous lines made of specially placed words.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Yeng Yang” is perhaps the very last warrior samurai,
With his special sword sharpened with his keen eye,
For his battles to preserve his honor as a brave man,
Doing everything in the ways of the forefathers of his land.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Bernard” was an usher at the Morley theater in Borger,
Who sat all the guests that came in late out of order.
He could handle that flashlight never blinding anyone,
Seating late comers with no fuss getting the job done.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Buffalo Neck” is an Indian in the Oklahoma hills,
Out looking for Bison that with his bow he can kill.
But he has lost his quiver of arrows out on the trail,
So without any arrows to sail on the wind, he will fail.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Duke” is a cowboy out in the Texas Panhandle plains,
Hanging one of his red boot socks hoping to gain,
Lots of nice goodies from old Santa Claus’s big sack,
To satisfy his sweet tooth when he gets out of the rack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Chef Pierre” is a pastry chef of that French descent.
Decorating a pastry cake that looks heaven sent.
He has grown an American style beard on his face,
To make him look manly as he decorates his cakes.
