All Of My Girls

All Of My Girls

.

Over the years as our families lived and did play.
There were a lot of special girls that came my way,
That I will share with you in this story poem today,
Before I do shut this blog down when I get too gray.

All Of My Girls

.

I was all alone when I was discharged from the army.
From that point, only girls would live at home with me.
As I settled down finally to start my own fine family,
Not knowing at that time what life would bring me.

.

My first girl was Pam that I married in June 1973,
I thought she was just as pretty as she could be.
A very refreshing young lady seeming just right for me.
So we decided to live together until the end of eternity.

.

When I married Pam, I got a girl miniature poodle too,
We had that tiny black dog 12 years loving her so true.
I took this picture one day when she jumped a little,
When she was still so very young and fit as a fiddle.

.

My next girl was my daughter Kristi Lynn so pretty,
She seemed so helpless then and so very little bitty,
She became the center of our world as our new baby,
But she was healthy and grew into our young lady.

.

About three years later, Tamara arrived to our world,
Another fine heathy good looking young baby girl.
We all loved the good life we lived out there in our home,
Working and playing together as our new girls did grow.

.

When Kristi was a curly headed young lady, a real cutie,
We got her picture with Monet which was a beauty,
She loved that little dog with every ounce of her heart,
As they both have a nice big smile looking so smart.

.

Old Santa brought Tamara a Stretch Armstrong doll,
Christmas in Fritch, Texas, when she was not very tall.
Tamara loved that ugly doll and carried it all the time,
Looking very contented in this fine picture of mine.

.

We lost Monet our tiny girl poodle of old age later,
But Kristi and Tamara grew into beautiful young ladies,
Living life to the fullest as life we all did love as we went.
The girls got college degrees and later married fine men.

.

As Pam and I were missing our girls here in our world,
So we found a Shih Tzu dog puppy for our baby girl.
We grew to love her too like she was one of the family.
Until she too died later of old age leaving Pam and me.

.

Sarah, our granddaughter, is our latest young lady,
To enter our world and share her love as a new baby.
She too has grown to a beautiful young lady so fine,
As with her immediate family, we often share her time.

.

We still have both our daughters and Sarah to share,
With their families when we can get together out there,
So as you have seen, all my girls really meant a lot to me,
Over the years sharing our life together so wild and free.
