Rendezvous

Craig and Rhonda were coming in last Thursday evening,
But we got a call saying their granddaughter was arriving.
So they headed south to Houston driving a little bit fast,
And Aria was born right at 5:08 PM Friday evening at last.

What a beautiful baby girl, Aria.

Rendezvous

After spending time with their baby girl and family there,
Rhonda and Craig headed up to here one week later
We had a ham with fried potatoes, corn and green beans,
Ready for them when they came in the door first seen.

Ah yes, that iron skillet ham was oh so good.

Kristi’s family also came over to dinner with us right here,
So they could see Uncle Craig and Aunt Rhonda so dear.
We all ate and visited catching up on all the latest news,
Enjoying each other’s fine company without any booze.

The first thing Friday morning we had a fine breakfast,
Then talked a long while and headed out so very fast,
On Bill and Pam and Craig and Rhonda’s big adventure.
Heading out on Adams street going dead east for sure.

We got out our good China out for Rhonda and Craig.

.
..
We first hit the Osage Casino up on top of the big hill,
First losing about $400 and then winning $800, a kill.
So we walked out of that casino about $300 ahead.
Heading down the road towards Pawhuska out of the red.

We stopped for a while in Pawhuska at the small casino,
Losing at first, then eventually winning about $200 or so.
By this time we were then getting hungry once again.
Feeling pretty good once more about our nice little win.

We looked for the Pioneer Woman Cafe opening up there,
But we could not find it around Pawhuska town anywhere.
So we stopped at Bad Brad’s Barbecue to have a little bite,
We took a few pictures in that rustic place feeling so right.

We then hit the road heading toward Skiatook once more,
Craig was driving his Buick Enclave to see what’s in store.
We found the Skiatook Osage Casino with no trouble at all.
Then went inside and won another $300 standing so tall.

We then headed North on Highway 75 to Ramona Casino,
The Slot machines there were a bit tight and so very slow,
So we lost some of our winnings before we did any good.
We were $500 ahead for the day and ordered our food.

We had prime rib and steaks from that Grill in the casino,
It took a while to get our food as service seemed very slow.
I guess we were all very hungry as the food it sure did go.
We headed to Bartlesville to end our big adventure show.

Pam and Rhonda then headed out to visit an old friend,
Leaving Craig and I here at home for ourselves to fend.
We watched two full movies while the girls were gone out,
Then we hit the sack with our bodies feeling so worn out.
