Sweet Pam
I wasn’t around when Pam was a sweet young girl so very cute,
But most of her life story her Mother often to me did commute.
I don’t have direct memories, but I’ll ad-lib some to make it fun.
So given herein are pictures as Pam progressed life on the run.

Sweet Pam
When Pam was born, she had chubby cheeks looking so plump,
You can’t see it in the photo, but she also had a sweet little rump.
She was cute as she could be in that hand knitted little dress,
Even without too much of her hair not even yet there, I do confess.

She grew up so fast and was soon running all over the place,
With those cute little legs looking like they were in a fast race.
I think her Mom made that cool looking outfit she was wearing,
For running around that house playing, just ripping and tearing.

Pam loved to read books sitting in Mom’s great big old chair.
She looked at all the fun pictures of Mickey and Minnie in there.
She had so much fun that she often laughed right out very loud,
Causing Mom to grab the camera for a picture making her proud.

As Pam got older, her mom liked to dress her up as fancy as can be,
Then she would parade Pam around for everyone in town to see,
Her Dad even entered her in “Little Miss Borger” contest in town,
Which she won by a real landslide with a big smile not a frown.

Pam was getting cuter as she kept growing older feeling so good,
She liked root beer floats and juicy fruit gum or so I understood.
Every Friday night she went roller skating with her friend Mitzy,
Rolling round and round that rink for all her school friends to see.

Pam was growing up fast and she decided to change her style,
She put a red bow in her hair and got a cool hair cut for a while.
I’m not sure but I think she may have noticed the cute boys.
Maybe she was sprucing up to catch a boyfriend with poise.

Remember that year horn rimmed glasses and big hair was in,
I think that this neat picture must be when that year did begin,
I bet it took a lot of hair spray to hold Pam’s big hair right in place.
But I think she looked just right as Dolly was heading the race.

Now there’s that long black hair that I always loved so very much,
It looks so good with that red velvet dress so soft to the touch.
This pretty girl has now turned into a very beautiful young lady.
Perhaps ready to go out on a high school date with her baby.

Pam must have cut off all of that beautiful long hair once more,
So she must have loved to change her looks with styles galore.
I loved that long hair that she had on the picture just before.
But I love her no matter how she wears her hair now, for sure.

Pam has come a long way since the days she was so young,
With this old man standing right by her side so rump sprung,
It’s fun to look back to see how we looked way back in the old days,
Thinking all the time that we have indeed come a long long way.
