Single Guy Trip

Single Guy Trip

Sometimes you just need to get away from the turmoil of working for a living and kick up your heels a little even when you are single. Bob and I headed out on an adventure in 1968. Here’s the story.

Single Guy Trip

In July of 1968, I was a single engineer living in an apartment in Borger, Texas, with Bob. We decided to take a single guy five day trip to Colorado. We took my red 1967 Mercury Cyclone GT on the trip. We drove first to Colorado Springs, Colorado. On first day we drove up to Pikes Peak and checked it out. We then hit the cave of the winds. We were not really too impressed with either one of these.

Pikes Peak is nice to look at, but not too exciting for single guys.

That may be Bob in the Cave of the Winds with a Chick we met there.

That evening we found a titty bar in Colorado Springs. They had this one girl working there who had very large nicely shaped scholonskies. She had a pastey on each nipple with a 3 inch tassel hanging down. They started the music and she started wiggling her left shoulder and the tassel on the left boob started spinning in reverse clockwise motion while the big boob had a gentle rolling motion. She then started wiggling her right shoulder and the tassel on the right boob started spinning in a clockwise direction. Bob and I were just mesmerized as we just stared at the huge gently rolling knockers with the tassels going in different directions. She kept it up until the song was over. This act must have taken her months to perfect. We watched some more of the girls and downed a few cool ones and called in a night. I think we both enjoyed the girly show quite a bit. All you ladies out there need to give the two direction spin a try.

First get the left one going counter clockwise, then the right one going clockwise. Very simple.

The next day we drove to Denver, Colorado. That evening, we went to the Cooper Cinerama in Denver and saw “How The West Was Won”. The screen was looped around so there was stuff going on all around you, the sound was awesome, and it was truly spectacular. The show was good too. We both really enjoyed this part of the trip.

The Cooper Cinerama theater. The show was outstanding.

The next day we spent touring the Denver Mint on a three hour tour. The tour was very interesting but perhaps not a favorite one of our activities on this trip.

The Denver Mint. Kind of a Ho Hum tour, but interesting.

The next day we hit the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado. This turned out to be a really great tour. The part we loved the best was the free samples when the tour was over. We stayed in there for a couple of hours testing the product and decided they not only gave a fine tour, but they also made a fine product. The only thing missing was the country music.

The Coors Brewery at Golden, Colorado. There’s some of that pure Rocky Mountain Spring Water from which the beer is made flowing by.

This is where the tour began. Kind of exciting isn’t it.

This is where the tour ended. The product testing was the best part of the tour.

We hit the road and drove over the pass to South Fork, Colorado and rented a cabin there. We did some hiking, fishing, and four wheeling, and beer drinking for the last two days and came on back to Borger. Neither one of us even owned a camera, so there was no personal pictures taken.

There is always a lot of things to do in South Fork for both single guys and families.
