Pain

Pain

.

There are many degrees of pain depending on the cause.
Most of my incidents with pain have been minor flaws.
However minor, the pain still makes you miserable a while,
Although we can’t recall pain, we recall the cause in our minds file.

Pain

.

When I was very young with lots of energy for play,
I went barefoot while running top speed all the day.
Sometimes I stumped my toe on the uneven sidewalk,
And the pain just made me double over with foul talk.

I recall onetime I went to sleep on the rock damn of a lake,
The sun cooked me to the point that I did really bake
With huge blisters that rose up all over my back.
The pain was unbearable that night when I hit the sack.

One time I jumped out of of a slow moving pickup truck.
I was facing the rear and fell down hard and it did suck.
I caught myself with my hand and sprained my wrist bad.
That night the pain kept me awake making me feel so sad.

At pool in Branson, I was diving on a stiff diving board,
And my foot hit wrong on the board causing me much pain.
The X-Ray showed I had cracked a bone in my toe.
Although not too severe, the pain was great and hurt me so.

I remember the time I had that huge hemmerhoid,
Like a hunk of liver hanging out of my butt boldly deployed.
The pain was awful when you had to drop a load in the stool.
Thank God for the hemmerhoid pillow to keep your butt cool.

While skiing in Breckenridge one fine winter day,
I took a fall and the pulled the ligament of my knee apart, I say.
The pain was excruciating but I stayed a week too long.
Suffering the pain while my daughters skied which was wrong.

That’s old Bill ready to ski before wrecking my knee at Breckenridge. Tamara, Kimy, Dale, and Kristi are getting ready to hit the slopes also.

We all have these little events in our lives that cause pain,
Fortunately they don’t last long and we get our lives back again.
For those people out that that feel severe pain all the time,
My deepest sympathies are felt for you, hope you recover fine.
