The NFL Playoffs

Last week there were 8 teams left in the NFL playoffs,
And now only 4 remain in the Super Bowl race so tough.
First, I’ll tell you how I did in my predictions last week,
Then I’ll predict the final Super Bowl winner on a streak.

The NFL Playoffs

Last Saturday, Seattles Seahawks played the Atlanta Falcons,
I predicted the Seattle Seahawks would win that one,
But the Falcons beat the Seahawks without much strain,
So on my predictions, I was zero for one and in pain.

I also predicted the Houston Texans would win their game,
Against the New England Patriots with their good name.
But the Patriots eked out a win in a very good show.
So my record went to zero for two, not good, I know.

On Sunday I predicted my team, the Dallas Cowboys,
Would beat the Green Bay Packers with Rogers, so coy.
It was a nail biter all the way to the very last play.
When my record went to zero for three in a bad way.

I also picked the Kanas City Chiefs to win last Sunday,
But the Pittsburgh Steelers played hard all of the way,
And beat the Chiefs looking so good with their play,
So my record went to zero for four, what more can I say.

Tomorrow, the Greenbay Packers play the Atlanta Falcons,
For National League championship which will be a good one.
My prediction is Green Bay will win and then move on.
Too bad a good team like the Falcons will be gone.

Also the Patriots will play the Steelers in a tough game,
For the American League championship with its fame.
I predict the Pittsburgh Steelers will win in a real fight,
And then head for Houston on the Super Bowl flight.

I hope I do much better this week with my predictions,
As I am tired of being sad causing me big confliction.
Now, I will take a shot at predicting a Super Bowl win,
Hoping I now at least have the right two teams to begin.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be the Super Bowl champs,
Beating the Green Bay Packers through pain and cramps.
The game will be close, but Rogers “Hail Mary”will fall,
As the Steelers jump high in the air after winning it all.

.

You have my predictions for what they are worth,
The truth is I think New England will make it worse,
By winning it all again making this old man curse.
I just hope I get one prediction right to put in my purse.

I say it’s a good thing that I don’t bet on the games,
Or I would be a lot sadder feeling extremely lame.
I hope you do better that me picking the winners,
If you won money, perhaps you could take me to dinner.
