More Loving Daughters
Gifts from the heart tend to stay with you a lot longer than something purchased at the store. Here are a couple of gifts I received from my daughters that I will keep always.

More Loving Daughters
I just thought I would share a couple of things my lovely daughters did for me a few years ago. We have always been a close family and we tried to do as many things as we could together with them when they were growing up. They have both grown into outstanding young ladies and they both are sharing time with their children as they grow up. Both are outstanding citizens, good wives, and good mothers. I am very proud of both of them.
The two beauties and the beast on a recent outing with them and my grandchildren.
In November of 1999 my daughter, Tamara, wrote me a poem which I cherish and have had hanging in my Man Cave ever since. She hit the nail on the head except for the mustard part. Here’s the poem.
“Billy Ray
by Tamara Ann
November 29, 1999
With a gentle soul and a kind kind heart
Billy Ray is set apart
from those who think their _ _ _ _ don’t stink
and those who mistreat, lie, and cheat.
William is a man who loves his wife,
his kids, his friends and just plain life.
He’s seen “it all” around the world
from naked tribes with machetes to Italian cover girls.
Some call him Wild Bill at night
in honky tonks with neon lights.
He can cut a rug like you’ve never seen
And cut the mustard plum through his Jeans.
He’s the “Hulk”, he’s Dad, he’s Billy to Pam,
He likes to tease Grandma when he can.
One thing to remember about Billy Ray,
Is lord he’s perfect in every way.
This poem is dedicated to the future adult grandchildren of William Raymond. “
On Father’s Day a few years go, both Kristi and Tamara collaborated on a Father’s Day gift that was outstanding. They framed it for me and it has been hanging in my bedroom ever since. These type of gifts are from the heart and have a lasting effect that I still appreciate today. I can’t remember any of the commercial gifts that I have received in the past, but this one will always be with me. Here’s the gift they gave me.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad
Though you have many many names,
You will always be our Hero.
“Bill”
“Dadro”
“Billy Ray”
“Sweet William”
“Strong Man”
“The Hulk”
“Squee Dunk”
“Billy”
“DADDY”
