Honey Bee Removal
.
The bee guys showed up today to remove our bees,
We have two honey bee hives they will remove completely.
One hive is out back in the shed over our back porch,
The other is in the ceiling right above our den of course.
(I’m writing this blog as they work)

Honey Bee Removal
.
Two honey bee removal guys showed up about noon,
And surveyed our bees then got started very soon.
They started first out back on the porch hive outside,
Where the honey bees were out there working alive.
.
They pulled a strip of plywood off of the porch ceiling,
And the bees were buzzing all over rocking and reeling.
The hive inside was 8 feet long and 18 inches wide.
They pulled out hive to a box with a queen there inside.
.
The bees will follow the queen or so they told me,
Then when most of the honey bees are inside you see,
They will take the bees off with them to a honey farm.
Where they hopefully will do no more damage or harm.
.
They pulled hive out of the ceiling for an hour or so,
Then put some kind of insecticide in the area hole.
Then cleaned up out there and moved on into our den.
I was worried about the size of the hive inside by then.
.
You can see below where the 300 bees came on through,
Into our den last week making Pam and I so blue.
So we decided to get them out of our walls right away,
Because I don’t like honey bees buzzing around that way.
.
The bee guys told us they would put a plastic tent there,
To try to keep the 30,000 bees corralled with care,
But he said they would still be all over our house,
So if they get too thick in the living room we will head out.
.
The guys built the tent of plastic fixed to the ceiling.
We can’t see in the room with all the plastic shielding.
They are ready to cut into our den ceiling right now,
But we can’t see the den as the black plastic won’t allow.
.
The bee guy told me that the hive outside was huge,
In fact it was the biggest one they ever did remove.
I can’t wait to see how much of my den ceiling they destroy,
As their special removal techniques they do deploy.
.
They did not finish today so they will come back,
And finish up as the bees keep coming in pretty fast.
They sealed the 16 inch by 8 foot hole they cut with plastic,
I hope they don’t break loose tonight and sting us sick.
.
The floor in the den and stair case banister are all sticky,
From that honey that came out of the bee hive so yucky.
The bee guys just left at 11 PM worn completely out,
They worked very hard today of that there is no doubt.
.
Pam is anxious to get into the den to clean there,
But she’ll have to wait for the guys to finish here.
Carl and Kristi are coming next weekend to do repairs,
For the ceiling holes that the bee guys left up there.
