Houston Fun
It’s nice to live close enough to very nice big Texas honky tonk way back in the Piney Woods where you can go to relax and have fun occasionally on a Friday night. Pam would get those “Friday Night Blues ” and be ready to go out by the time I got home from work on Friday night. Unlike the song, I was ready to go out too, so we always had a great time. Houston Dream
Traveling to Houston and back each week to work on a project gets to be a real pain after a while. Since I knew the job I was going to be on would last another six months, I was able to talk my boss into a temporary assignment in Houston. It was like living in another world or maybe stepping out of our world into another world. It was sort of like a working vacation for me.
