Aunt BuelDine’s Frozen Fruit Salad

Aunt BuelDine’s Frozen Fruit Salad

.

When I was young between 6 and 14 years of age,
Our families shared holidays with the dinners we ate.
Aunt BuelDine made many good things for us to eat,
But her frozen fruit salad was my favorite, hard to beat.

When we celebrated at our traditional holiday dinners,
With hams and turkey with dressing we were all winners.
The food was so great that everyone brought to share,
That we all stuffed ourselves sitting there in our chairs.

I always ate BuelDine’s fruit salad with my main meal,
As it tasted so good making my tastebuds just reel.
We had pumpkin pies, pecan pies, cakes and much more
But  BuelDine’s frozen fruit salad as a desert, I did adore.

It is so simple to make and Pam has made it for holidays,
When guests at our home for holiday dinner did stay.
I hate to admit that I got more than my share to eat,
As the taste of that frozen fruit salad was oh so sweet.

.

Stop and smell the roses.

This makes a dish that is a whitish pink color so nice.
With fruit pieces peeking out on the surface for spice.
Don’t be afraid to eat this dish during the main meal,
As I think you too will get that tastes so good feel.

Ummm Good.
