Aces Party Time
.
Occasionally the Rhythm Aces got together for big fun,
To celebrate Aces clogging team success on the run,
After we won many trophies at the Silver Dollar City Park
At the National Clogging Competition by hitting the mark.

Aces Party Time
.
Sometimes Pam and I hosted the party here after four,
Down in the basement on our oak hardwood floor.
As we drank beer, talked, listened and danced to songs.
Two stepping, line dancing, and clogging right on along.
The Rhythm Aces at the National Clogging Competition at Silver Dollar City.
.
The ladies started up in the kitchen talking about things,
Perhaps with a little gossip that the ladies often do bring.
It looks like some serious discussions also transpired,
From expressions on faces as the wine coolers are retired.
L- R Brenda, Paula, Pam, and Paulette.
.
The guys always headed for the cold beer in the basement.
And started the music, chugging beer for entertainment.
Gary usually found a hat to start us all a grooving,
As he grabbed the microphone getting things moving.
L – R Gary, Pam, Bob, and Paulette.
.
The guys all lined up and did the Fred Shuffle right then,
As we were feeling kind of good ready to dance again.
When the group upstairs heard us having fun down there,
They headed on down to watch us dance and then cheer.
L – R Bill, Ellis, Gary, and Fred.
.
The ladies wanted to dance a little and got on the floor,
Ellis joined them and soon there were a few more.
Doing what looks like the Tennessee Banjo Man clog dance,
As the rest of us watched them there as they did prance.
L – R Paula, Jan, And Ellis.
.
We all decided to boogie down a little bit later that night,
As that hard wood floor was crowded feeling so right.
From this angle looking at the picture as we all did work,
It looks like Paula may have been learning to “twerk”.
L – R Bob, Jan, Bill, Tamara, Brenda, Paula (twerking), Pam, Ellis, and Gary.
.
Justin was there with his Mom and Dad having fun,
So we taught him the Fred Shuffle with the big guns.
He learned it very quick and was now one of the crew.
He danced a lot after that, as he was no longer new.
L – R Justin, Gary, and Bill.
.
The Rhythm Aces had a lot of fun as along we did roll.
Working and playing together to achieve our goals.
We were proud of our achievements as we had our fun.
I hope the rest of the crew had fun before we were done.
