I loved our little Shih Tzu so much I put myself right inside her,
To tell a story about one day in her life right inside her soft fur.
She led a very wonderful life without too much to worry about.
But she brought us so much pleasure, of this there is no doubt.

Yawn, well I guess I’ll get up because I need to go out to pee.
I could hear Mama snoring in the bedroom really bothering me.
So I’ll get her up early to open that sliding door to let me on out.
Guess I’ll head into the bedroom and give her a single bark shout.

Well here I am Mama, I’ve barked once and you just rolled in bed,
I’ll get louder and bark twice, then maybe you’ll raise your head.
Good you’re getting up, but now I’ll have to wait for you to pee,
Guess I’ll head over to the patio window and wait until she’s free.

Mama you didn’t have to put this funny coat on me to potty,
I might just get some pee on the coat making it a little shoddy.
Oh well, she always has to have her way making me so pretty,
So out I’ll go to the patio dressed up like I was going to the city,

Well, Daddy got up and took that funky coat right off of my back,
Now I can mess around without feeling like I’m a pink coat rack.
I’ll sniff around until I smell my old pee there on the patio top,
Then pee in the same place to keep marking my special dog spot.

I’m pretty tired so I guess I’ll jump on the bed and sleep more.
Daddy is still sleeping, but it’s okay because he doesn’t snore.
Wow, this bed is so comfortable, I guess I will let it all hang out.
Nobody bother me now as I feel like I’m floating on a white cloud.

Oh look, Sarah has come to visit my Mama and Daddy today.
I love to go outside in the yard with her as she can still run and play.
She always treats me so nice and I love her with all my heart.
I love Ben too, but he did not come to visit and it does so smart.

Daddy said we are going out to Weezes Cafe to eat very soon,
I wait in the car when the weather is cool like today at noon.
And I usually get a good snack on the way back to our home.
I love it when they bring bacon out for me to eat on the roam.

Sometimes Daddy let’s me sit right next to him when he drives,
I love to stick my head out the window in the wind, I feel so alive.
Sitting up there right by his side, I feel like I’m driving with Dad
Making me feel like I’m am just so smart and I am so very glad.

We’re back home and Daddy is in his chair with Sarah playing,
Guess I’ll hop up there with them and see what they’re saying.
I just love sitting between my Daddy’s legs to see all the action.
Perhaps Daddy will scratch my head giving me much satisfaction.

Sarah’s gone to the other room now and Daddy’s got the raccoon,
I’m going to have some fun now fighting that coon in costume.
This makes my eyes firey as I try to rip that coon into pieces.
I have so much fun playing with Daddy, my heart rate increases.

Look, Mama just sat down in her chair eating an ice cream on a stick,
I think I hop over there and she if she will let me have her last lick.
Ummm, that was so good, I am tired again so I guess I’ll get in bed.
Good night all, I’ll see you once again early in the morning ahead.
