My Blogging Buddies
.
As I have blogged over the past few years gone by,
I had a few buddies as I wrote sitting here on the fly.
That have shown up in my blogs looking so fine,
Keeping me company as I wrote my rhyming lines.

My Blogging Buddies
.
I first had a nice monkey that was round like a ball,
That I called “Pork Monkey” standing so very tall,
As he propped my iPad up so I could see it all.
He was a good blogging buddy when he didn’t fall.
.
“Fat Nose Ape” then did take Pork Monkey’s place,
To hold my iPad as I blogged up very close to my face.
Fat Nose was a little too flat to do a real good job,
So I used his fat rump which was kind of like a blob.
.
Then I found “Tigger”who was just perfect for old Hawg Jaw,
As he was flat on bottom with round sides and no paws.
He didn’t roll off me when I blogged during the day.
But alas, Zack liked him and took Tigger home to play.
.
Soon I found old “Droopy Dog” to blog with me a while,
Who would sit on my leg as I blogged at home in style.
Kind of leaning forward just a bit as his eyes looked up,
I thought I had found a perfect iPad holding lap pup.
.
Those animal buddies of mine helped me a lot over time,
Holding my iPad up as I wrote those poems that did rhyme,
Freeing my left hand to relax laying on over to the side,
To heal my carpal tunnel that in my left wrist did reside.
.
My early blogging buddy was our dog named Cutsie,
Who used to sit in my easy chair keeping me company,
As I wrote my blog on my iPad sitting comfortably,
Sometimes rubbing her ears soothing both her and me.
.
When I went to see the Wirz family down Frisco way,
I always had Zack as a buddy on iPad writing day.
We got comfortable in a easy chair as we did our thing,
As I wrote my blog and Zack played games with a zing.
.
When Ben and Sarah came to visit when my wrist did ache,
They would keep me company as I took a little break,
Being my good buddies making me feel so very fine,
Encouraging me to finish all my blog lines that rhyme.
.
I found a new buddy to hold my iPad as I write my song,
Just recently that I call “Golden Boy” as I write on along.
I can scratch his neck and he lays as still as can be,
Making a perfect soothing holder that really pleases me.
.
Old Golden Boy fits right in as I am often here all alone,
And I don’t even have to feed him any meat or a bone.
He sits there so soft with that big old smile on his face,
And he never craps on the floor giving me a red face.
