Wonderland Toons
.
I have drawn a few more December toons right along,
While listening to a lot of Christmas caroling songs.
To keep my spirits up so my drawings don’t go dark,
Causing more frowns than smiles on the faces to park.

Wonderland Toons
.
“Dean” is a sailor in the Navy that I never did meet,
As he was buried at sea before first life I did greet,
But I heard lots of stories my Dad told about Dean,
And I saw a picture of him when he was in his teens.
.
“Will” is a guy who never met a man he didn’t like,
Growing up in Oklahoma when he was a little tyke.
He had four children of which he was very proud,
Handing out those cigars to friends in the crowd.
.
“Huang” is a Chinese man working out in the rice field,
Holding a sharp hand sickle to increase the rice yield,
As he cuts the rice stems then hangs them up to dry.
In big bundles with the heads pointing up to the sky.
.
“Homer” is a family man that just wrapped a nice gift,
For his lovely wife before heading out for the night shift.
He has got her a very nice gift with money he did save,
Hoping she will love it and the give him some praise.
.
“Pinky” is another of Santa’s little helper elves at play,
Playing with a toy soldier he made just yesterday.
Thinking even elves need to have a little fun at times,
I’ll get back to work tomorrow and things will be fine.
.
“Eagle Beak” has a long nose that looks like a big beak,
And every once in a while he lets out a very loud shriek.
As he talks to his Golden Eagle sitting there on the perch,
Looking into each other’s eyes as a soul they do search.
.
“Roy” is a fly swatter with a point on the top of his head,
Who cuts that deadly cheese that will knock you dead.
You better stay out of the room when he takes a swat,
As that strong effort may force out a very loud shot.
.
“Rocky” is an upstart boxer that gets beat up a lot,
He claims he is a champion but he’s not really so hot.
His opponent has broken his nose with a left cross,
So he can likely ring this match up as a big loss.
.
Barney is a carny that runs the sledge hammer swing,
Where you hit the pad to try to get the bell to ring.
He has done it often as he worked the carnival circuit,
Building his muscles working off his tiny little butt.
.
“John” is an old cowboy working as a small ranch hand,
Way out in the country in the Texas Panhandle land.
He put his leather gloves there the pocket of his pants,
As he grabs a drink from the water barrel on the ranch.
