I whipped out a few more August Bighead toons so fine,
With my pen guided by old memories inside of my mind.
Always in black ink, so I can’t make mistakes as I go,
Or cross any lines anywhere, if I don’t want it to show.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Toons With Bigheads

“Freddy Wayne” is the first toon with a bug on his chin,
With his head bent on down trying hard to see him.
I guess the bug must be giving Freddy a big ole bite,
As he’s trying hard to mash with his fingers so tight.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Tumble Weed” is out on the prairie with weeds blowing,
Sucking a cool one with some whiskers a showing,
He smoking a Camel cigarette hanging out of his mouth,
Looking like a real cowboy from the very deep South.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Jonesy” has been out looking for those buried treasures,
He just got out of a deep cave with booby traps for sure.
Finally finding a golden skull buried down in there.
With rubies, sapphires, and emeralds making him stare.

“Tong” is an assassin for the Chinese very bad men.
He is dressed in black when he is out working for them,
With his head splitting steel hatchet in his left hand,
Ready to strike his assignment down when he can.

“Jim Ed” is a sailor that got a 48 hour onshore pass,
So he is happy as he chugs his beer so very fast.
As he thinks of a young lass with a twinkle in his eye,
Knowing full well he is such a handsome Navy guy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Delmar” was not born with a head full of smart brains,
Or maybe he left them laying out there on the range.
He is standing in the corner with his dunce hat on his head,
Staring at a balloon message that Forest Gump often said.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Ralph” is a milkman that delivers milk to steps out front,
With a blue milkman hat, looking a bit like a runt.
He opens the front gate and walks on in with a strut,
And the dogs often chase him and bite him on the butt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Bob White” is a cowboy that drew his colt 45 six shooter,
As an Indian is approaching that looks like a looter,
Bob just fired a shot right over the Indian bucks head,
And he took off like a wild deer thinking he was dead.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Gomer” got angry and cut down a cherry tree with an axe,
He was a good chopper so he cut it down in 20 whacks.
When his wife saw the tree, he tried hard to fix it back,
But he failed and his wife gave him 20 hard fist smacks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

“Baby Huey” liked to eat and he never worked out,
So his chest was small and his stomach spread all about.
He was just never too happy all of his long life long,
And his friends called him a “bell shaped ding dong.”
