Strange Hawg Tales
.
Many times as I sit and think as an old man in my chair,
I seem to disappear within my own self thinking so clear.
When this happens, I let my mind go where it does will,
And I then I write it down in a story poem by Hawg Jaw Bill.

Strange Hawg Tales
.
In the past when I have gone deep within my mind on a roll,
I came away with some strange ideas for blogs from my soul.
The Hawg blogs that I wrote then seemed quite deep, you see,
Which likely seemed quite weird to everyone but little ole me.
.
On one occasion, I put myself in the body of my dog, Cutsie,
And told a story titled “The Old Man” for everyone to see.
I tried to see things from Cutsie’s point of view in that blog,
Which was just a little difficult in that blog from the Hawg.
.
To make this work, I had to assume that Cutsie could then talk,
And understand the things I said back as we took that long walk.
We talked back and forth a lot in that blog perhaps seeming weird,
Cutsie with her big brown eyes and me with my old white beard.
.
Another time, I put myself inside the head of a Monarch butterfly,
Trying to experience her life by living with her as her life did fly by.
I experienced her full life cycle from the very beginning to the end,
From being hatched from an egg on a leaf as her new life begins.
.
“My Thoughts As A Monarch” is the blog title by the Hawg.
My two grandsons were in the Monarch’s summer in the blog.
As Monarch migrated north there to Frisco on her summer stay.
Spending time with the boys as together they often did play.
.
Another time, I dreamed that I had an opportunity to be a tree,
And I placed myself inside the bark with roots down below me.
I experienced life as a tree trying to enjoy life from the inside,
There were somethings I found to be enjoyable on that ride.
.
“The Tree” was the title of this really strange blog that I wrote,
And after trying life for a while as a tree trying hard to stay afloat,
I found life as a tree to be very boring always in the same place,
With roots firmly attached deep into the earth on life’s long race.
.
Once I wrote a blog about riding through the jungle on a Gazelle,
With a lion chasing right behind us as the Gazelle ran like hell.
With me telling the story about that wild ride holding on tight,
To those big horns as my legs gripped his sides with all my might.
.
“A Ride Through The Jungle” was the title of that strange blog,
That I wrote so quickly when it suddenly came to the old Hawg.
I must admit that I felt a lot like Tarzan of the apes taking the ride,
But the next time, I decided to ride an elephant to protect my hide.
.
If you missed these blogs on the first time as on by they flew,
Take a look when you get kind of bored with nothing else to do.
By typing the title in “search block” provided above to the right.
And they may put you right back asleep in the middle of the night.

PS2: I recently published a blog called “A Heifers Tale” where a Heifer did the talking where I threw out a lot of bull.
PS3: Another Yucky blog about boogers is coming up soon. If you don’t want to see, don’t read the blog called “Yucky Me”
