Misque Party

Sometimes some of the “Misques And The Cuties” troop,
Got together to party down in our basement as a group.
We let our hair down a little, dancing and raising hell,
Listening to loud music with close friends as we did yell.

We became very close friends with Misques we saw a lot,
So occasionally a few of us celebrated at our fun spot,
Down in our basement in my man cave so very hot,
Having fun dancing to loud music with some Margarita shots.

Misques And The Cuties

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

On one occasion Linda and Gene and Fred and Paulette,
Came over to celebrate the greatest clog group yet,
With a few drinks to relax us so we would be at our best,
Having fun together on Friday night in our little basement nest.

We started in the kitchen kind of nice and slow. Linda was feeling frisky when we began the show.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

I think it must have been a Christmas time party fling,
As Paulette was the lovely present Fred did bring.
As we started out in our kitchen before going on down,
To our basement to act a little bit like Misque clowns.

Let me just unwrap this present to see what’s inside there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

We started off with some belly rubbers slow and pleasing,
To get in a dancing mood with the music soft and easy.
I loved playing music and dancing down in the basement,
Chugging beer having fun with our friends for enjoyment.

You dance divinely Linda, you sweet thing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

Soon we progressed to two stepping a little faster,
As music got a little louder as we loosened up the plaster,
Dancing around on that hard wood floating oak floor,
Starting to feel like we wanted to dance some more.

Nothing like a nice fast Texas Two Step to get your blood to flowing.

.

We put on “Keep Your Hands To Yourself” by Georgia Satellites,
And Fred and I did the “Fred Shuffle” feeling so right,
As we all were feeling high, maybe just a little bit tight.
With Linda observing from the corner on a high flight.

Dang those two guys look like two peas in a pod doing that “Fred Shuffle”.

I think Linda was having a ball sitting in that corner spot,
Sipping Margaritas and laughing at our dancing so hot,
While smoking those Pall Mall cigarettes that she had quit,
While still smoking them on the sly just a tiny little bit.

Hey guys that’s a great dance, I’m about ready to cut a rug myself.

.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

Linda wanted to do a little Western swing dancing then,
So Fred and her got out and danced once again.
They were really cutting a rug out there just a swinging,
As that music was louder with that dance they were bringing.

Swing it Fred, that San Antonio Rose sounds so good tonight, so let’s swing it just right. Willy is playing good music on that turntable so tight.

We then put on “Old Time Rock And Roll” nice and loud,
And Linda and Fred really entertained our little crowd,
As they clogged with much enthusiasm on the dance floor,
Having the time of their life asking for some more.

Fred we’ll go opposite directions like we do with the Misques.

.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

I put on “I’m At Home On The Range” by Susie Boggus,
Which we had clogged a while back with a little fuss,
And Fred got on his hands and knees ready to ride,
As Linda jumped on his back and spurred his old hide.

Hey guys, we need to do this party thing again sometime. Yee Haa!

.

Pam took all the pictures on that fun party night at home,
So we’ll put her in the featured picture spot all alone,
As she mixes some fresh margaritas for the Misques group,
To keep everyone happy on that fun night with the troop.

Pam was the Margarita maker and the picture taker for this little show.
