March Toons

March Toons

.

I’m not presenting marching tunes here in this blog,
But rather Bighead toons from the mind of the Hawg,
But wait, there’s a little of Sarah in several of them,
As she helped me draw the first eight with her vim.

March Toons

.

Sarah first wanted to draw a young farmer hayseed,
Looking so country while chewing on a fuzzy weed,
Sarah wanted a sack of chicken feed in his left hand,
While feeding a hen dropping feed there on the land.

She wanted to draw a dude netting big butterflies.
Right out there in the air as all around they did fly.
Sarah drew the butterfly and directed my work for the guy.
She named them Happy and Rainbow making me sigh.

I had told Sarah about catching a rat in my squirrel trap,
And she then wanted to draw a Bighead toon about rats,
So we came up with Ratso together just sitting there,
She named the rat Bucky with his teeth and tail so bare.

Sarah wanted to draw a ship’s captain as the next toon.
So we drew a guy based on both our thoughts by noon.
The pipe was Sarah’s idea to make him look smart,
As was the book in his hand as part of our fine art.

Sarah and Pam were baking cookies one day in the afternoon,
So Sarah wanted to draw a baker as a Bighead toon.
We modeled the rolling pin after the one they used that day,
As we drew the Baker from scratch as we did play.

One day we saw wrestling on the TV looking so fake,
So we drew a big porky wrestler looking like a flake.
We put a folding chair in his hand to make him look mean,
Because none of the wrestlers ever seem to fight clean.

Sarah wanted to draw a guy holding a baby bunny,
That was wearing a baseball cap looking a little funny,
So Frank was born looking closely at his little buddy,
With a bit of a sour look on his face looking cruddy.

The last toon we consorted on Sarah named Stuart.
We gave him an ice cream cone as part of our art.
On all of our drawings we did together that week,
We both signed with WRL and SAT feeling so neat.

Below are the rest of the Bigheads toons I have done,
Since Sarah left and I had to draw the Bigheads all alone.
They are not quite as good as the ones Sarah aided on,
But I did the very best I could after she had gone.

Vadeah, Vadeah, Vadeah, that’s all folks.
