Hawg Jaw Bill Signing Off
.
Here’s a change in style as I am signing off once again,
Just a little different than I have written as an old man.
I’ll say “farewell once more,
As I do again close my front door.”
With a few final Hawg Jaw words, my long reign to end.
The Navy and Philview Camp years.

Hawg Jaw Bill Signing Off
.
There once was an old man named Hawg Jaw Bill,
Who wrote over 1000 life story blogs at his own will.
One day he got tired,
And said “geezer you’re fired,”
Then laid down that old iPad , the blog to again kill.
The Phillips Grade School And Sulphur Springs Years.
.
There didn’t seem to be an old memory left to recall,
As it seemed to him like he had recorded them all.
So he said “I quit,
As I’ve written all of it,”
Which made him a little sad making him want to bawl?
The Phillips Highschool, Texas Tech College, and Army years
.
But his daughter Tamara then reminded Hawg Jaw,
That he had quit ten times while giving him a Hee Haw,
He said “you are right,
Why am I uptight tonight,”
Maybe more memories will soon pop up out of my craw.
The Marriage and Family Years.
.
So who knows what’s in Hawg Jaw Bill’s future fame,
Perhaps more writing or maybe it’s the end of the game.
He says “we’ll soon see,
If there is more writing for me”?
It will take some new old memories to fuel the flame.
The Fishing, Hunting, Boating, and South Fork Years.
.
So for now I guess I’ll just have to wait and then see,
If anything stirs any more new old memories in me.
Until then, “goodbye a while,
Make fine memories with style,”
As you too may someday feel like blogging your own memories.
The Boots & Calico, Mickey Mouse Gang, Misques & The Cuties, Rhythm Aces, and Texas Two Step Dancing Years.
.
The pictures Hawg Jaw has shown in this short poem,
Cover some of the same ground as when I was going.
To refresh your memory,
About my long life I told, you see.
Maybe you’ll recall some of the old blogs while I was growing.
The Fun with the Grandkids Years.
.
I know that I shall miss my daily blog writing routine,
And I guess now, I’ll spend more time with my Queen,
I don’t want to be lazy,
And I don’t want to drive Pam crazy.
I’m sure we’ll work out any problems to be seen.
