Gary
Ever meet one of those guys that was the life of the party no matter what you were doing or where you were at. Well, that’s Gary. We all loved Gary and his family and became very close friends over the years we spent clogging together.
Gary
We first met Gary and Paula and their children at Willow Hall clog dancing with T Town Country Cloggers. I walked up to Gary and started talking to him and in about 5 minutes I felt like I had known him all my life. He has that type of personality that just pulls you in because he always has fun no matter what he’s doing. The first time we all went out to eat together, I believe we went to the Pizza Hut. When we finished eating, he took a long chunk of the white cheese and stuck in on his nose. he called the waitress over and acted like he sneezed and then pulled his hand away. There was the long strand on white cheese hanging down from his nose and he would say…”Mam, could you get me a Kleenex.”… And she just stood there dumbfounded. I saw this stunt pulled 40 or 50 times and it was always funny because the reactions were always different, Another favorite of his was to put a raison over one of his front teeth to make it look like he had a tooth missing.
Gary with a little nose cheese in place getting ready to call the waitress over to ask her for a Kleenex. This was when we clogged with the Trailblazers.
That’s Gary with the Raison on the tooth making him look like he’s missing a front tooth. Allways having a good time. I think he’s asking a waitress for a date.
.
Gary was always wearing numerous outfits no matter what we were doing. He generally has the best costume when we dressed up for one reason or another. These are best described in pictures so a visual display is coming up.
Gary getting hard into the Fred Shuffle at BT Bones in Branson to a live band, Gary is the initiator of the checkered dew rags and neckerchiefs that the Aces usually wore when we did the dance. I think he’s really feeling the music from the expression on his face. Go Garo.
Gary acting up at the after party when my daughter Kristi got married. I think Paula may have taken the roller pin to him a little based on the missing teeth. Love those eyebrows and that nice hat too. Oh that’s my wife Pam begging him not to embarrass her in front of all her friends.
That’s Gary playing Speedy Gonzalez after a few beers in the basement of our house at one of the Aces get togethers. That’s a fine specimen of a tongue he has hanging out there. Maybe he’s practicing licking the nose cheese out of his mustache.
Gary at one of our Country Rhythm dances with his Harley Outfit on. He says he has his go either direction cap on. The eyes look a little bloodshot so he may have had a bad night last night.
That’s Ellis in his “Texas Ida Red” costume and Gary in his ” Too Old To Cut The Mustard” costume just after our competition dances at Mutton Hollow in Branson Missouri. Gary and I won the grand prize trophy and the money for the best duet in show. Fred and Elliis came in second to us. Gary seems to be interested in those whopper boobs Ellis is carrying.
Gary and Paula at dinner with the Rhythm Aces after winning the Adult Division first prize for a clog routine to “At The Hop” at the Bixby Lions Club talent show. Thumbs up to our great clog team. Gary said he had a sex curl exactly like that when he was in high school.
Gary strutting his stuff to a live band at a dinner bar and grill in Branson. Those Wildcats always have a good time no matter where they are. Look at that expression of pure joy on his face.
Gary dancing with Brieanne at B T Bones in Branson. He won that which way is he going jäger mister hat in a contest that night. Gary seems to be doing OK with a little help from Brieanne. ………Quick, Quick Slow, Quick Quick Slow………
Gary and I were cooks at the Trail Blazer hot dog fund raiser. Here’s Gary doing a solo clog dance to get things rolling. I believe Gary is enjoying himself from the expression on his face. He looks pretty good in the red chefs outfit.
That’s Bubba Gary after one of our practices at Ellis and Brenda’s house. He’s fixing to go a mudin’ with the 4 wheeler at Grand Lake. If you look closely you’ll notice he has a few teeth missing.
I’m not sure, but I believe that’s Gary shaking hands with an ugly little man with big ears. Ellis and Brenda had an annual Halloween party where they fixed about 50 pounds of chili outside in an iron pot. If I remember correctly, that ugly little man turned out to be Brenda. Those were fun times.
Gary as Clem Cadiddlehopper at the 50’s costume party at Willow Hall clog dance. How about those squinty eyes and that brown noser smile. There’s that curl again.
.
As you can see from the pictures, Gary is a fun guy to be around. We all did a lot of things we probably would have never done if he hadn’t been there. I hope you never change Gary…..Keep having fun.
Thanks for reading Gary,
Hawg Jaw Bill
