Feels So Right

Sometimes as we live our lives doing the things we love to do,
There are times when everything is just perfect for me and you.
We all know when that happens to us that it just “Feels So Right.”
Making one of those feel good periods when we float out of sight.

Feels So Right

One activity that always did “Feel So Right” to me was the two step.
Out on the dance floor just floating with my hand on Pam’s  back.
Feeling that George Jone’s song right down to our country souls.
Flowing smoothly to the music as around that floor we do go.

 

 

 

 

 

.

Rafting on a clear mountain river in that cool brisk morning air,
With those beautiful mountains and scenery around us so fair.
Always gave me a natural high feeling, making me “Feel So Right.”
With my family there too, taking in the beautiful mountain sights.

Flying first class on those international flights did “Feel So Right.”
With the wine and champagne served cold on those long flights.
The food was delicious served by good looking hostess ladies,
With big comfortable chairs that reclined into a bed so lazily.

Walking alone climbing on that great China Wall near Beijing
On that historical site built hundreds of years ago by some king,
Caused chills to run up my spine and my hair to stand on end.
“Feeling So Right” as I looked out over that beautiful China land.

When we stayed near Anchorage, Alaska at Alyesyka Ski Resort.
We rode up on the ski lift on a summertime ride for some sport,
And saw some scenery so very great, what a wonderful sight.
Getting a natural high with the awesome view “Feeling So Right.”

I had a small argument with my daughter Kristi full of spice.
About where her high school graduation ceremony took place.
She said the Community Center and I said the Adams Gym.
We checked and she was wrong, making me “Feel So Right” to win.
(Heh heh)

When Tamara did her hard jump rope-clog routine so very great,
She awed the crowd with her hand-foot coordination, first rate.
I watched her do that routine a hundred times over the years,
Making me “Feel So Right” each time with a just few pride tears.

 

 

 

 

 

.

That love Pam and I made after we first got married was so fine,
Feeling the booming thunder when we did love time after time.
Making us both “Feel So Right” as our lovely babies we did create.
Those feelings of ecstasy were wonderful making us feel so great.

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

Drinking that wonderful beer in Germany, Holland, and Scotland,
Had me “Feeling So Right” after a few full pints on my demand.
The beer tasted so fine and strong as I began to float on my stool,
But I usually quit drinking before I turned into a clown or a fool.

 

 

 

 

 

.

It seems like there are so many things we can do to “Feel So Right.”
I just touched the surface with a few of my good feelings tonight,
It feels good to recall these experiences that made me feel so fine.
I hope for more ” Feels So Right” things before I run out of time.
