I guess the soothing effect of drawing Bighead toons,
Kind of relaxes me like an old soft Dean Martin tune.
Making my old wrinkled body feel just a little better,
Helping me to defeat my role as a night time fretter.

“Jim Bob” could be old Hawg Jaw when he was a boy,
With a baited cane pole as fishing brought him joy.
As he headed on down to Butler Creek to catch fish,
In Sulphur Springs fulfilling a strong boyhood wish.

“Meat” was in an old movie I once saw called “Porky’s”,
He was one of the characters in the movie, kind of dorky,
That was very well endowed in a special kind of way.
At least that’s what Porky’s daughter often did say.

“Fat Lips” is a guy that came to our door on Halloween,
With big old lips on his ugly face that could be seen,
I thought at first that he had a real bad birth defect,
But it turned out to be a mask that was hard to detect.

“Walter Raymond” was a man that I knew very well,
That was in the Navy in the Philippines giving it hell,
In WW II drinking the milk of the coconut for his health,
In his Navy dress blues looking so stately and stealth.

“Beach Boy” is a cool dude I saw on a Galveston Beach,
When living in Houston and a beach was within our reach.
So our girls could see the ocean while we lived so close,
And many strange beach creatures that often did pose.

“Parker” is a fine basketball player I often did watch,
That plays for the Spurs, a very hard team to catch.
He is a lot smaller that most of the other NBA players,
But he is very fast and the Spurs are NBA team slayers.

“Scott” is a college graduate heading out to begin life,
He loved to go to school attending without any strife.
But now is the time, he must begin his work to survive,
Although, that’s really what makes it great to be alive.

“Ta Tonka Nose” was an old Indian I saw in a movie,
That was called “Little Big Man” that was real groovy.
I think that old Buffalo Bob would have liked this toon,
As this guys nose looks like one that a buffalo did own.

“Raleigh” is a pipe smoking dude of English dissent,
Who thinks he was some kind of a lord, heaven sent.
In fact he now wants us all to refer to him as “Sir”,
As “Sir Walter Raleigh” plans to trade tobacco for fur.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.

George was a king of England way back in history.
This guy could be George I through VI for us all to see,
As there were a lot of Georges from way back then.
So just take your pick as this guy could be any of them.
