Why drawing Bighead toons entertains this very old man,
Is a question that I will probably never really understand.
Perhaps it’s the only way that I can be a little bit creative,
In the boring old man’s world here where I must now live.

Early October Toons

I draw one Bighead toon in the morning and one at night,
As I sit in the kitchen with a very bright source of light,
When I go to the table to take medicine to keep me alive.
Now isn’t that an exciting way for an old man to really jive?

I would rather go out two stepping to raw country songs,
Or clog dance with friends at fun shows one hour long.
My old feet and legs just don’t work too good anymore,
So I do what I can like blogging and drawing toons galore.

I’m recording my Bighead toons here in the blog as I go,
So my future generations can see them as they grow.
So here are the Bigheads for the first part of October,
There will be more Bigheads before this month is over.

The Bighead toons are straight out of my memory banks.
If you know me, you may even show up in my toon ranks,
So look carefully at the toons as you scan down through,
And you may just figure out that one was based on you.

For the last half of October, I will draw Bighead monsters,
To put more excitement in my new Bighead characters,
But, I’ll control myself to keep my blood pressure down,
So I won’t have to see the doctor giving me a big frown.
