MaMo’s Picture Book
I found a book of pictures written on by MaMo Barringer,
Taken in her back yard in 1951 which were real humdingers.
It was in the summer as the kids were playing in water,
She was so proud of her son and her two sweet daughters.
MaMo’s Picture Book
The first picture is Pam, Darena, and Bobby so young,
Pam was 2 years old and seems to be holding her tongue.
Darena has just a bit of scowl on her cute little face,
And Bobby looks a bit surprised as he stands in place.
Pam looks kind of cold standing there soaking wet,
And Darena has a funky hat making the face of a cat,
And Bobby Oran looks kind of like he’s taking a pee,
As they play in the hose water for everyone to see.
Pam looks like she may be screaming loud with her pose,
As Darena is telling Bobby it my turn to hold the hose.
And Bobby seems to be in kind of a hypnotic trance,
Such facial expressions with no smiles at a first glance.
Janell kind of looks dumbfounded sitting on the ground,
Buffalo Bob seems very happy with the smile he found.
Richard also has a very nice smile with his legs crossed,
A fine group picture together, shiny and nicely embossed.
Janell is standing still looking dumbfounded somewhat,
As Darena is picking something from her mouth like a nut.
And she has successfully blocked Bobby out of the shot,
While Pam is bawling out loud so mad looking hot.
The ladies got in the pictures after the kids got done,
There’s Opal Nicholson there behind the other ones,
And MaMo Barringer in the front center right there,
The other ladies I never met as big smiles they share.
MaMo Barringer took another shot with her friends,
After Opal had to leave and head on home near the end.
I can tell by the embraces MaMo loved these women,
With nice smiles seeming so happy way back then.
In a last picture, Bill Barringer and the kids joined in,
I love those shorts Bobby wore with a small grin.
And Darena almost found a slight hint of a smile,
As Pam seems contented in her Daddy’s arms for a while.
It was fun analyzing these old picture that I found,
After I found them, I just couldn’t put them back down,
Without sharing them out there on my Hawg Jaw blog,
So now you’ve had a look at the resulting blog by the Hawg.
That’s all folks!
Thanks for reading MaMo’s Picture Book,
