June Toons

June Toons

.

I have drawn some Bighead toons during June so fast,
Based on impressions left on my mind from the past,
That come to life when I start to draw on my sketch pad,
I will write a little poem about these Bigheaded lads.

June Toons

My first toon is called Red Neck looking like a country hick,
When I see this guy around, he always acts like a big dick,
He wears a bull nose ring in his cauliflower ear so thick,
And carries his own sign that kind of makes him feel sick.

The next toon is Damon Geen who we saw in the NBA games,
He’s a fine player but loses his cool and calls others bad names,
And sometimes resorts to nut kicking when he gets mad,
Which gets him kicked out of games and makes him sad.

This toon is Mr. Magic who pulls bunnies out of his hat,
And does tricks with cards and other things like that.
I saw him once in Las Vegas when he sawed a girl into,
And then put her back together with a tube of super glue.

The next toon is Bonzo, a clown with bright green hair,
He wears giant sized shoes when he goes everywhere.
He was at the Ringling Brothers when I was a young boy,
Acting so very funny as he played with his rocket toy.

The toon up next is Stoney who is a Mexican cowboy,
Who worked on the 6666 Ranch near Borger so very coy,
He is fixing to brand some of his own cattle for show,
With “Bar B Q” brand to butcher later when they get old.

Next up is Paul Chopper who is a lumber jack so fine,
He cuts down those trees with his saw and axe all the time.
He claims to be the offspring of Paul Bunyan of fame,
He even gave his big musk ox “Blue” for his name.

Big Jake is the next toon who works on the railroad,
He hammers those spikes fast in his hard hitting mode,
While singing the “I’ve been working on the railroad” tune,
Working late in the evening until up comes the moon.

The toon coming up next is Chigger, a farmer hayseed,
With his holy straw hat and blue overalls, yes indeed.
He’s got lots of freckles from his time out there in the sun,
And he claims his old Pappy was a bad “son of a gun.”

The next toon up is Jumping Elk, a mean Indian brave,
Who has many scalps hanging in his teepee he saved
That he removed with his big deer horn handled knife,
That many a time in the past has saved his own life.

The last June toon is Sea Bee who is a US Navy man,
Who served his country well on Sea and on the land.
This could be my Dad who was a Sea Bee in World War II,
Kind of irritated because of the deck swabbing duty too.
