About Me

About Me

Sic em Cutsie, I can see fire in your eyes, rip that old ring tailed coon up!

About Me

Bill is the name, storytelling is my game.  My old army sergeant gave me the name “Hawg Jaw Bill”, and though I have several nicknames, this one takes the cake.

I’ve been married for the past forty years to a lovely lady named Pam.  We have two daughters and four of the best looking, most intelligent grandchildren out there.  My dog’s name is Cutsie, and she is my best bud.  I’m a retired Principal Process Engineer and won several awards for specific patented inventions of liquid natural gas processes still used today by Phillips Petroleum Company (now Conoco Philipps).

We live in small town Oklahoma with limited activities for Seniors.  About four years ago, one of my daughters gave me an iPad2 for my birthday.  This opened up a whole new world to me and I find that as I grow older the iPad has become a very important part of my life.

About Me – Why I Decided to Start Blogging

This blog is a testament to all of the ways the iPad has improved my quality of life, and I want all Seniors to have the chance to do the same.  I would like to inspire others from my generation to write their story.  It took me a little while to get comfortable using the iPad, and I am still learning all the great things the device has to offer.  I decided to start this Blog to share some methods I have used to receive pure joy from my use of my iPad. I pick it up first thing in the morning and lay it down next to my bed at night streaming country music wirelessly to my Bluetooth speaker.

About Me – Other Hobbies

One of my hobbies is drawing cartoons, and I will use this blog to share my original artwork with readers.  You will get to know me a little better through my art.  I also love country music and will share some of my favorite artists and feature some old 45s I have collected over the years.

My hope is that readers will find this site useful in one way or another.  To find out more about me check back often, as I will post frequently.  I am now on Twitter and Google+  and now have a Facebook Page.  If there is a topic you would like covered, please let me know.  I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for reading About Me.
