A Heifers Tale

A Heifers Tale

.

Sometimes when old memories are hard to find,
I sit here in my old easy chair dreaming up rhymes.
A Tall Tale story poem suddenly pops into my mind,
And off I go to on a tangent just having a good time.

A Heifers Tale

Hello to y’all out there in Hawg Jaw land on this fine day,
My name is Heidi Heifer telling this tall tale here in the hay.
I wiggle my haunches every time that I walk by those bulls,
And then I shake my long tail over my back swinging full.

Hi, I’m Heidi Heifer and do I have a Tale for you.

.
There’s a Longhorn bull in that fence of sharp barbed wire.
That seems to be drooling for me with a very strong desire.
I do like the looks of that big guy as I stroll right by on the sly,
While checking out those big jewels and that fire in his eye.

.

Wait there’s a big Hereford bull right over in that grass field,
I’ll head on over there closer as to me he really does appeal.
He’s got a white face and red hair so I can’t help but stare,
And he is so well endowed proudly standing way out there.

.

Just look at the muscles on that Brahma bull inside that fence,
All that stuff hanging off of him just takes away all my sense,
If it wasn’t for the black hump on his neck, I’d chase him down,
And rub noses with him there in the field on his home ground.

.

Look at that Shorthorn bull standing out by the lake so very tall,
Sporting a light brown speckled color on him and his big balls.
Just looking at him makes all four of my knees start to shake,
I’ll just strut on by him shining my stuff to make his legs quake.

.

Black is beautiful as that Angus bull proudly stands in the grass,
With those black beauties hanging way down below his mass.
I’d love to run out there and give him a roll in the hay right now,
But look over there at that big white bull, calling this young cow.

.

Whew wee, they get better every time, this bull shopping is fun,
This white Charolais bull has muscles galore, look at the guns.
And he has a pair of pinkies that almost rub on the green grass,
I’ll give him a good look walking by as I shake my cute little sass.

.

Oh my gosh, over there is a Dutch Belted bull looking so fine,
With a black head, a big white middle stripe, and a black hind.
If I hang around loving this guy, I’ll feel like a cow fashion queen,
And I bet we would have the cutest calves you’ve ever seen.

.

Hold on, there’s a Brown Jersey bull in the shade of that tree,
And look, he has a tattoo on his left butt cheek for us all to see,
I think this bull has a bit of a wild side which really excites me,
So I’m heading on out there, as we are now going on a spree.

I think this tall tale poem has been so different, that I did adore,
As I have thrown out more “bull” in this one than ever before.
But the big bulls are so stunning to view, so very stately and tall,
I enjoyed writing this tall tale as I got a real close look at them all.
